If you’re looking to add a pop of fresh green and cheer to your space this winter, try your hand at making your own with greenery. You can use a mix of greenery like pine branches, eucalyptus, and other greenery fillers. This tutorial from the DIY Network gives you the full breakdown of how you can craft a gorgeous, luscious garland for your home!
Dried Orange Garland
If you have an oven and two oranges, you can make this beautiful, rustic garland! Simply slice two navel oranges into thin rounds about 1/8-inch to 1/4-inch thick and pat them dry before placing the slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet and baking for two and a half hours at 250F. You’ll want to flip the oranges over halfway through the baking time to ensure they dry out on both sides. Once the oranges are dry, poke a hole through the middle and string them on twine about 1/2-inch apart.
Tassels have been trendy for a couple of years now, and it seems like they won’t go out of style any time soon! One of the best parts of tassels is how easy they are to make – all you really need is yarn, twine, and scissors to create your own tassel garland! Plus, you can customize the colors of your tassels to match your style and decor!
